I have a 2014 Tundra 1794 with over 130k miles. When it is cold, not every time, it delays the shift from 2nd to 3rd but does not slip, and the reverse it delays as well to get it. The code that it shows is the P0761, and when some time passes, it turns on the check engine and traction control light, and the code that it shows is the P2714.

P0761 is the Solenoid C that is stuck in off position
P2714 is pressure control D performance/stuck in off position

I am not sure if this is a gear seal issue or if I should change the solenoid C and check it.

Please guys, let me know your recommendations.

    Thanks in advance,

These come up from time to time. Can range from low fluid, lots of clutch debri in fluid, faulty solenoid or a trans on its way out
The valve body develops wear when clutch material is flowing through the passages causing wear and develops loss in line pressure.
Check level and condition of fluid, top off if low. Test solenoids, ohm and actuation. Can be done at plug end or when dropping pan to clean out if dirty. Lots of posts on theses codes. Post 21 has some part numbers.

I do drain&fill every 20k to prevent this sort of issues. Nothing beats clean oil.

Ihad a similar problem, but the D solenoid. Pull the pan and replace the C solenoid. The SLT solenoid (2714 code) is likely not bad, but should be bench checked. The bsic shift solenoids are only $60 on RA . Get the rostra brand. Swapping and testing is simple. Getting the pan off can be a real challenge.
