    Guys I’m lost right now, I just replaced the lifetgate latch and the door actuator. Both seem to be working now but I can’t seem to open the liftegate now. My orginial issue was that the door itself was not latching properly. That issue has been fixed and now i have another one lol.

    Probably forgot to reattach a linkage. You'll need to get in there somehow to pull on that for it to open back up.
