I'm in the market to replace a 2013 F150 and have been eyeballing the Tundras since 22. I was curious about the APR rates for financing through Toyota. Do they run special APRs (especially now with high rates)? I noticed Ford is running some special lower rates through the end of the year. Curious if anyone knew.

You'd have to check out your local incentives..

    Offer Details | Toyota.com

That said, it was a different time, but I bought my 2005 and 2014 @ 0% financing for 5 years.
Paid a little more each month and paid them off in 4.5 years.
I bought the 2005 in October of 2004, the 2014 in December of 2014.
They usually lower the rates late in the year to get rid of the current-year models...

I've recently seen commercials for other manufacturers offering 0%, but not Toyota yet..

I would imagine you’re looking at 5% or more for 60 plus months with top tier credit. I’ve never seen yota offer 0%.

TFS in CA is offering 4.9% on Tacoma/Camry for 36 months. 8.99% otherwise. Bring yer own financing.

Yep, I first started thinking about a new truck in 20-21. Low rates at the time, but couldnt pull the trigger as I wanted to wait on the new Tundra. My procrastination and COVID has bit me in the butt as my F150 is starting to fall apart.
I look at the cost of these new trucks and often wonder how folks are affording them. Never have I thought I would be considering paying 55-60k for a truck. That was always luxury car prices to me.

0 and .9 a couple times thru Yota. Plus the wife and I have been able to get low low rates when we purchase her vehicles.

You will have to check in with your dealer every month to find out what they are offering

I replaced a 2012 F150 that I truly loved, with a 22 F150 in July 22. That 22 F150 was the second worst vehicle I have ever owned, just after the Audi we owned a few years back. I traded the 22 F150 for a 24 Tundra 1794 back in September. The difference, for me, is night and day. There is very, very little about the Tundra that I am not completely satisfied with. The 6.99% rate I got through Toyota was slightly less than I could get from either of the credit unions I am a member of. I am more than glad to give up the lower interest rate I had on the Ford just to have the Tundra. It's a great truck.

Credit unions are the way to go if you can't get a promo rate, 4-5 percent up to 72 months and 7 percent for 84 bug gains was 10 months ago.

    I agree..
I'll keep my 2014 until it dies.
Then maybe buy a 1 or 2-year-old used Gen 3 Tundra.
Hopefully, they will have the kinks worked out by then.
    If not, I'll find a nice 2020 or 2021..

My wife has bought a few cars since we've been together.
But never a new one, usually dealer demos or low mileage (under 5K) used.

Just curious, what issues you had with the 22?
So, TFS is running close to 7% right now.

From the beginning, I and several others on the Ford forum had a drivetrain shudder. My dealer replaced the torque converter since the symptoms all pointed to a bad TC. That didn't fix the problem and I later learned that the shudder could be reduced, but not eliminated, by using premium fuel. Eventually the transmission began to slam occasionally like someone had hit the rear of the truck. The dealer determined that the transmission was faulty, but Ford would never allow them to replace it. Ford contended that this was a normal characteristic for a modern Ford 10 speed. The truck also had numerous and repeated false "tailgate down" warnings, occasional temporary failures of the main screen, and numerous irritating rattles among other things. It spent about 5 weeks in the shop during the first year of ownership.

One of the things that worried me about the Tundra was the turning radius. On paper, the F150 was supposed to turn sharper than the Tundra and my 22 F150 never turned as sharply as I thought it should. I have found the opposite to be true. The Tundra turns much sharper than the F150. Now I suspect there may have also been a problem with the steering on my F150 that I never recognized.

My first choice for a truck to replace the F150 was a GMC Denali with a 3.0 baby Duramax. My biggest worry was the transmission since the GM 10 speed was co-developed with Ford and shares the same basic design. I was at the gas station one day and a guy pulled in behind me in a new GMC truck. I asked how he liked it. He said, "I really like it, but I need to get it checked out at the dealer. It has a shudder in the transmission."

Not saying I don’t believe you, I’ve never seen it offered here on a truck or suv. Maybe once in a blue moon they will say 0 for 36 on a taco but that was prior to Covid too. My cpo Corolla was 1.9 in 16 and my new t4r was 2.9 in late 16. Tier one credit, Always got zero percent on all the American cars and truck I bought before switching.
