I like to browse Autotrader and the car dealers' pages on lunch just to see what the market is doing. I am seeing a LOT of 2020 F150's for sale in the $39 -$41 range. These are 4x4 and fairly loaded ones too. Were these just built like crap during covid or a problematic model year with recalls?

I find it ridiculous three year old vehicle that isn't even some luxury brand to be 40k.

You are probably seeing the 36 month lease returns coming back into the used market. Likely a big wave of cheap leases handed out in June/July of 2020 near the peak of the dark days. Now a flood of used trucks hitting the market and dealers are pricing them to move.
