I had all 4 of my cats cut off my truck while I was at work a couple of weeks ago. I've been looking around at different ways of securing them and like the idea of the CatClamp (https://catclamp.com/). The problem I might run into is that I only have about 3 to 4 inches between my driver side exhaust pipe and the front drive-shaft and I'm worried about the potential of the metal cables rubbing against the front driveshaft when it's in 4WD.

Anyone put this (or any other) type of security system around the cats? Apparently us Tundra owners are good targets for thieves since we got 4 of those SOBs.

Sorry you got hit. Seems like the scourge is everywhere. I just put in a desert eagle cat plate mated up to an RCI engine skid plate. I recently wrote another thread about the challenges of that particular combination. The desert eagle skid plate is heavy duty steel and really nice but should be noted that it covers just the front 2 cats. It was $325 via PayPal (including shipping) and the owner (Kent Weaver) is a straight shooter. Really nice guy.
I’m currently looking at Valhalla’s Shield to cover the rear two cats. The entire Valhalla’s Shield system looks pretty slick too.

Desert Eagle All said and done it will be about a $600 job to cover the cats. Best of luck.
