    Hi all,

I recently purchased my first Tundra. It is a 2000 Limited.

The security system in the truck acts up all the time. The previous owner mentioned it. He solved the problem by simply disconnecting the horn and yanking out some wires. It made it so it doesn't drain the battery or sound the horn... but it also means I don't have a horn when driving.

The problem seems to be that the system is super sensitive. I can hear it clicking on and off when I close the doors, go over bumps, brake too hard, or pretty much anything else that causes some kind of shaking/bumping/etc...

I'd really like my horn back. Anyone have any ideas how I might be able to solve it or what might be causing it?

    Thanks!

Need more detail: factory or aftermarket alarm? What does key fob look like? What exactly causes the alarm to go off (tapping on the truck, trying to open doors, etc) have you looked under the dash where this clicking is coming from?
