Seattle/Snohomish tech stream hookup?

Hey folks, I have tried now and failed to get tech stream running on my laptop.

Is there anyone in North King county/ Southern Snohomish county with tech stream they’d let me hook to my truck?

Or help me get it running on my laptop?

 

What issues are you having getting ts to work?

 

Are you needing it to make custom changes?

That’s complicated for typing out, but basically, I’m using it on a windows do virtual box on a Mac laptop, and I can get v12 to work but not v17

 

I got Carista today. I’m turning off the fake engine sound, operate windows with the key fob, change blinker to 5 seconds.
If you’re looking for something like that I live in Puyallup.

 

i had the same issue where techstream didnt work....ended up getting carista and made the changes i was trying to make with the cable.

So I started this thread before finding out about Carista, thanks @Craftty1982. So I ordered one and will no longer try to tech stream the truck.
