    Hi all -

I know there's a couple threads already out there on this, but I wanted to get a new one going and see if we couldn't compile some information here.

I've got the measurements on the 3rd gen seat spacing and will be comparing that to my 2011 to see if (as it seems everyone suspects), the seats simply bolt in. I think they will.

My biggest concern is the seat air bags. There's not much info I have ready access to, and I've got several concerns/questions:

    1. The part numbers that Toyota has are variable across different model years, which don't even align to the 2nd/3rd gen.

Example: Toyota part #891700C460 is an air bag control module. It states it fits certain vehicles from 2013-2016, so it crosses over the 2/3 gen model years. And it only shows one module...which leads me to believe that it controls all the air bags in the truck.

    2. I don't know enough and am not comfortable enough with playing around with the air bags in the seats, the control modules, and the potential connection to the rest of the air bags in the truck. Without having several examples here and knowing the schematics and potential for sensors, controls, voltages, etc., I'm at a loss as to whether or not the changes for each part are something as simple as mounting points/brackets, to completely different (improved?) setups that won't work together at all. Trying not to kill myself or launch myself into orbit unintentionally.

    3. There isn't much info on the air bags themselves aside from a model number, so if anyone has access to repair info and wiring diagrams, it can maybe at least get it started.

So...I guess I'm done rambling. Any help anyone can provide, from wiring diagrams to any insider info to pics of their air bag plugs and wiring is potentially helpful. Thanks!!

Hmmm...almost 100 views and zero information so far. Starting to think maybe this just isn't happening for anyone!

Gen 2 rear seats and cold air intake.
I converted my 2016 rear seats to a 2 gen Tundra set up. No air bag stuff back there you will need to get the middle seat safety buckle from dealer to finish the installation.

Good info for sure, but it doesn't help with the front seats! lol
