Anyone here replaced their front seats with with something they really like?
I have an 07 SR5 and the closer we get to 300K miles, the more I am convinced we have another 200K together. Recently, though the driver seat door side foam has separated from the main cushion. (Took it to my doctor and as usual got told to lose weight)
Salvage yards are naturally the first option, even though tundras in general are hard to find in them. But I figured If I am going to drop a hunk of cash, I may as well find out what everyone else has found aftermarket that they liked better than stock. Suggestions from those of us that have had multiple years, if a newer model came out with a version more comfortable than the 07, please throw that in the mix too.
Any feedback, links, sources, contacts, advice, and contributions to the cushy tushy fund are welcome!!
Or if someone has a source for just the new pre- molded seat foam, I would appreciate that also.

I would say your best bet is looking through Ebay and maybe even upgrade to 2014 and up seats. I'm assuming the 2.5 gen seats would fit considering that is it the same exact cab. I speak from no experience either and I'm sure you already did a quick google search, so my suggestion is probably pointless lmao.

Not sure where you live, but you may want to try a well-rated upholstery shop in your area. I'd look for something that does automotive, boats, etc... I'd guess this would be a pricy way to go, but you doesn't hurt to ask; plus you'd get your choice of cushioning, fabric colors, etc... and get to put your hands on the materials before install.

Another option would be to get your post count up (check the rules first, but I think it's 50 'quality' posts) then you can post a WTB (want to buy) request in the marketplace of this forum and hopefully connect w/someone who knows of or has a set of seats they'd be willing to part with.

    Good luck!!!
