Anyone else have this happen? Is there an easy fix? I guess I must lean on that side when I drive, and a wire is poking through. I need to get it repaired before the cloth tears.

No real easy fix. You'd have to take the cover off and inspect the actual seat foam to see what's poking through. Then, cut it off or put it back.

Yeah, I plan on taking the cover off. Just didn’t know if anyone knew of a fix that didn’t require buying new padding.

You could probably use some glue to patch up the foam after you take care of whatever is poking through. I'm not sure what type of foam it is, but there's a couple of different glues that. I used to use a lot of Super 77 as it's good with MOST closed and all open cell foams. It might be a little difficult to work with in a situation like this, but I would highly recommend it. Glue everything as close to stock as possible, if you have some chunks sticking up, you can use a fine cheese grater to shave down the chunks.

I wish I had some advice or idea for you Jason. Sounds like @GravityGear has some experience and ideas. I guess I would start with some hog ring pliers and get that cover off and see what's happening. Adding foam from a craft supply store may be an option if the OEM foam can't be repaired. Keep us posted buddy

    Super 77 is the shiznit.
I've adhered many headliners with that stuff
@War Machine have you called around to any upholstery shops? Some of the smaller outfits might pull the cover and handle the issue for a relatively low cost.
I remember I had a mom and pop place quote me $100 to replace the lower seat cushion foam in a previous truck.

I just noticed the exact same issue. This post is a couple years old but would be great to hear what you found out.

Did you fix it or did the extended warranty cover it?

I got a quote for $100 to fix my bolster cloth and foam on my old cloth seats tundra that had the same problem. One day turnaround at the upholstery shop. Easy peasy cheesy.
