SEAT COVER ISSUE

my 07 tundra drivers side seat bottom needs to be replaced. issue is before i bought my truck{new} the dealer had leather installed and removed the cloth.i have been told it was done at the southeastern depot before the truck was delivered to the dealer.can't find anyone who makes replacement covers in leather.i can get a shop to fix it,but would like a replacement cover.if anyone knows someone that sells replacement covers in leather please let me know. i have called every where with no luck.thanks

 

i tried them.they were not friendly and offered no help.i won't be calling them again.thanks for the suggestion.you would think someone out there still makes replacement covers

 

Can you elaborate? I was thinking of getting them later this year. I know they don’t install, I have a local dealer that will do it and has done several K installs.

 

i think katskins will sell you a complete interior.they told me they did not sell pieces like i need.my dealer told me mine were installed before they got the truck.according to the serial # on my truck it came with cloth.so toyota can't help me.ordered one not knowing and it came in cloth.thats when i found out it's not a dealer item. i really like the leather and know a replacement will not match perfect. but that ok since the truck is 10 years old lots of places sell complete interiors but not pieces.i'll keep looking hopefully someone will help me.someone replied to check leatherseats.com.hope i have helped and thanks

 

I think he wanted you to elaborate on why they weren't friendly and didn't offer help. From your response it seems like they just explained their situation/policy which doesn't seem unfriendly to me?

 

I can elaborate on the conversation.short and not SWEET.wasn't going to spend a ton of money,so let's move along. that what i got out of the conversation.oh and by the way leatherseats.com did listen to my needs and were very helpful.

 

There are just leather seat bottoms on eBay, I was looking for cloth unsuccessfully.
