    Hello,
I want to try my ScanGuageII on my 2019 Limited. It worked great on my 08. Kind of scared I might smoke my ECU. ScanGuage only lists compatibility through 017. Have any of you tried one on something newer? I also have TorqueII and a Bluetooth dongle.
    Thanks,
    ebc

I have plugged in my scangauge II on my 2018 for a few hours. no issues.
Can't determine a permanent mount location yet.
There should be no reason why it would smoke your ECU

I’ve used it on 2018. No issue. I don’t think it really writes anything to ecu, just clears codes. If it messes it up, unplug battery. If that doesn’t work, go to dealer for warranty and say your wife drove it and now it’s acting weird.

All it does is read the output, should not be harmful.

I have mine semi-permament mounted in my 2018, used velcro to the left of the steering wheel on the flat spot above the mirror controls and switches. Display trans and torque converter temps, voltage and engine temp.

I got this mount on Amazon. Looks like the price has since gone up.
