I searched for this, but imagine if the info is deeper than than the titanic at this point.

Looking for a scan tool that won't break the bank, that I can use to show transmission temps when changing that and diagnose stuff into 3 categories:
    1. I can fix that
    2. I might be able to fix that
    3. Someone that knows what they are actually doing or is younger/in better shape needs to do that.

    TIA

    Scanguage 3 is nice.

    it's handy.

gives me all the data I need to decide if I'm going to break something.

I didn't want one of the bluetooth things...I hear they are quite good tho'.

Where did you mount yours? Amazon is selling them now. Full user manual is available now as well.

It's kinda, sorta mounted in the useless cupholder that's closest to the dash.

it almost perfectly points towards me.

I mainly use it for mileage crap.

Unless I get on the pedal, then I'll switch screens to performance type crap. AFR/Timing/MAF

When my S/C harness faulted, it allowed me to easily surmise the issue & reset sh1t to get to a safe spot.

I have mine up in the corner at the 11 o'clock position. It's a bit in the way but I have a bunch of parking/access stickers there.
Had it dead center over my dash. I think I am going to remount it there.

Do you just leave it plugged in and mounted in the truck?
