Dan dynos this sick 2016 SC'ed Tundra on 275r55x20 tires first then swaps over to 38s for comparison.

It's crazy how much hp loss occurs.

    Yes, the truck has 5.29s

    Crazy.

This is the most accurate third party testing I’ve seen since 2014. Those are the exact numbers + - 5 on Hp and tq with everything he is reciting.

my truck did exactly all of the above with a trd supercharger.

Did you run 38s on your Tundra, Keith?

Ha! Forgot to mention that aspect. I tested 33’a and 35’s. Both lost 40 Hp!! It’s not the rotational weight losing the power, it’s the way the ecu ‘sees’ the load. By slowing down wheel speed in relation to the throttle position the ecu pulls timing and it adds fuel which is what is causing the Hp loss.

If only there was a way to fudge the ECU's read on the load. Sorta like the way one plays with the tire size and gear ratio on the Hypertech calibrator.
