I studied up and went with all 4 corners Sachs shocks and struts. I have 2 BMW and that’s OEM for their lineup. I was so tempted with those quicky front struts. I opted for old school maintenance. I have been battling darty front end since purchase. Changed out front sway bar bushings, steering rack bushings, triple inspected everything that moves. All tight and correct. I’m hoping it is very worn shocks that is the offender. Doing the “rock the boat “ test, the truck just keeps rocking like there is no shocks there. I will report back with road test. I’m right at 102K. a little rare XSP model. Love the Tundra generation 1. My Dad has a 2006 4WD. Colorado native. Considering he has 2 different choices when he is at the wheel. Either warming up at the High Altitude camp site, or full power up the mountain road. He could be a weak link Test Pilot for Toyota. His Truck is a Testament to quality of our Brand. Merry Christmas Tundra Brothers.

    SAS!

Most will suggest balljoints around 100k. Maybe TRE’s if it’s seen a rough life.

Mine made it to 245k but I was tempting faith as my whole front end was completely shot.

Not sure if I’m up on ball joints. The lower were done on recall. Are there more?

The lowers are the important ones.
