Same problem - Pre-Collision Light

Glad to find out I am not the only one with the problem with the pre-collision light. The dealer cannot find a problem. Toyota says if the dealer cannot find it, the problem does not exist. I have contacted my attorney, his advice was to document every time it comes on and the conditions. The pre-collision light has come on four times but it does not register in the black box, per the dealer. We are at a standstill at this time. I need to give credit to both Joe Myers Toyota and Tejas Toyota, they are doing their best to find the problem.

 

W/S camera and grille emblem clean? Those are the first things I would check as the system is really sensitive to dirt.

 

Call Toyota regional customs care. That' what I did. They sent a tech down. Replaced front radar.

 

They will get it squared away!
