Auto zone doesn't carry it either. Back home to order it.

And some good news! My CO house has finally got rented out! Huge financial burden off my plate and I can actually start to save money again!

SOB! Removed the JK's radiator and then checked delivery status of the new one. Delivered...to the CO house, doh! Have a friend picking it up to send to me, but gonna be another 3-5 days before it arrives now.

The weld through primer arrived. Hopefully by the end of the weekend I'll have the qp support welded in

Edit: double damn it! free warrantied radiator cost me $102 to reship.

Hope that worked. Used the air belt sander to remove any rust that built up, wiped down with mineral spirits, then sprayed the zinc based weld through primer. Did short spray bursts but it was coming out pretty thick still

Not pretty. Had to redo a few welds because they didn't stick. But I think it's in the "good enough" area

seems like the smaller the hole is for the spot weld the easier it is to do.

For the QP, I think I'm going to cut out more of original so I have less stitch welding to do. And just going to go ahead and remove the spot welds and the strip of old QP that meets the roof. Still kinda wondering about that part though.

More.mocking up, cutting, and fitting. Hesitant to cut the last QP away from the roof still. Thinking it would be hard to clamp the sheet metal there to get any good spot welds. Probably just line it up, cut, and stitch, then seam seal it.

Cut the top stip off. So spot welding the roof is no longer an option. Probably for the best

Need to get the top left part of the qp flush cut next. The bottom left a bigger gap that I was expecting but I think it's workable

That sucks, I feel your pain, I threw away a new $100 fan switch when I trashed the bad radiator I got from Rock Auto.
