Had the dreaded P2440 code, installed the Hewett tech gen 1 SAIS bypass kit with block off plates. Install went fine, truck has no codes and runs perfect, but I notice at startup it seems to hesitate slightly to start, recently it has been in the 20s. It cranks fine, the battery is pretty new. Is there anything the bypass does that would cause this when it is colder out?

Hmm I just installed a Hewitt Bypass and had no such issues here in Missouri. Had temps in the teens earlier in the week.
