I'm about to put on my new 6" Budget exhaust system from Dirty Deeds...I was on another forum and bought a SABM ( Secondary Air Box Mod) basically an additional hole in the stock box to draw in more air ( I have AFE Dry Filter in there now)

I did the same mod years ago with my 1st gen Tundra.... I cant remember how much it helped, but it didn't hurt at all

Before I cut a hole in my engine wall to do install I was just wondering if adding more air into the engine / air box will get me any gains.... or am I just Whistling Dixie

Is it possible to have too MUCH air coming in ?

    Thanks in advance...

Too much air is not possible. More air is better.

I’ve done a few sabm’s and they always tend to help a little. Get er done!!

Keith, DO you recommend doing the battery disconnect for the ECU to relearn driving or just cut n run ?

Nah. No need to disconnect battery. Not a big enough change.

Thanks Keith... Got my buget system installed this past wkd... it sounds and feels great As usual... HOWEVER, after watching your install vid, and the blind fold install thing.... you should come to MA or anywhere in New England and try that.... LOL.... it don't happen here like it does in Cali.... the rust on our trucks is BRUTAL even trying to cut everything off.... LOL

    Great job on the system...THANKS
