Hey guys, hopefully I didn’t miss the thread where this was already discussed but I’m picking up a 2018 crewmax in a few days and I’m wondering if I’m able to get both the electronic and spray on rustproofing? I’ve been loyal to the spray one but I can get the electronic pulse box free from a friend. Thoughts?

Never heard of the electronic pulse box and I live in salt country so I'm thinking I would steer clear of that and stick with an oil based product.

It’s a small box comparable to the size of an HID ballast that supposedly sends small electric currents throughout the truck to hinder rust from forming. Claims to be better because it can reach more areas than the undercarriage. In your opinion, you think a spray and electric box could coincide?

I'm a huge fan of Fluid Film. I apply a heavy coat to the underside of every new vehicle (minus the exhaust) and apply a light coat every fall and it keeps the rust away. It's a lanolin based product. It will attract a little bit of dust/dirt/debris but does an excellent job.

That’s awesome I’ll give that a look. So as for my question can you do a spray on undercoating on top of the electrical pulse box?
