Rust Treatment? IN to AZ

    Hey guys, I bought a 21 Tundra from Indiana in October of last year. I live in the desert in AZ so rust is not an issue here. However, the truck spent the first two years of its life in southern Indiana and I’m wondering if the small of amount of surface rust on the frame and such should be sprayed with something.
    I have lived in the desert my whole life so I have no experience with this. Is there a product I could just spray in any areas with some surface rust? Would appreciate input from folks who deal with rust. Thanks!

    At a bare minimum I would spray the undercarriage with Fluid Film or Woolwax one time.

    I just bought my 2020 a few months ago. It has been a Wisconsin truck all it's life and had some minor surface rust on the undercarriage. I brushed Corroseal rust converter on every rust spot that I could find, and then top coated those spots with Rustoleum flat black. I will be also be spraying with Woolwax before winter and making sure I get it inside of the frame, fenders and rocker panels.

    Meh, I wouldn't bother. If it bugs you, hit it with a wire brush. I've had bare steel sitting on the side of my house for welding projects that has sat for more than 15 years and it doesn't look any worse that that.
