Rust Converter

I was curious if anyone here has used or considered rust converter products for their truck. To give you a little background on this product: A few years ago, I had some rusty clothesline posts in the backyard, and I was looking to either paint them or put in new posts. I did a little research and stumbled across this product called Corroseal. Seemed simple enough to grab a wire brush to remove loose or flaky debris and then paint this product on the posts. Corroseal is from what I gathered is a plant based product, which is hard to believe. The results that I got where outstanding. The Corroseal turned the rust black and it basically primed the posts for paint. I thought about just leaving them as is, and it would have been fine to do that in my opinion, but I painted the posts anyway. They still look great to this day.

I do know that you can't use this as a preventative maintenance...meaning there has to be rust present. Also do not put the product back into the bottle once you have started painting this stuff on. Now, I have seen another product called Rust Converter Ultra which would work as well. This is kind of pricey, but like I said previously the results were amazing.
