Anyone know where I can get a replacement rubber mat for my dash? A quick search online turned up nothing. Thanks!

Check out the price for a JBL head unit.......cheapest you can find it is 4K. The whole JBL system isn't worth that!

That spot on the dash even with the rubber mat are about completely worthless to me. I cant even keep a pair of folded up sunglasses up there without them sliding off and i dont even think i drive that fast. Maybe i will build a custom little cubby.

A little of this and a little of that. Its pretty run of the mill.
I took my rubber mat off. I have an air freshener attached to it. But every time I go wheeling it goes flying off. So now I just roll without it there.

Had the truck detailed; since then the rubber mat slides...looks like the bottom "connectors" are ok - does anyone have a pic of the underside with the three "connectors" - just curious if the detail shop pulled something off (maybe like a "T" on the bottom of the connectors so the mat stays in the dash holes or ???)...thanks for the help.

That dash mount is pretty neat. @GravityGear do you have it mounted in yours? Install as scary as it sounds in their instructions?

Not who you were asking, but no. Install of the ICS mount took me about 15 min. Fantastic product.

I'm planning on getting it. I am still trying to figure out if it will fit a phone, tablet/gps and a forward facing go pro. If it will fit all that, then I will do it.

@Elfine I think I asked you about this on the TC FB page. was that you?

For what it's worth, I bought one of these off Amazon and trimmed it to fit over the OEM had rubber mat. Looks good enough that my OCD doesn't notice it, and definitely improves the "ability to hold sunglasses through a hard right". Not my best mod, but is my cheapest at $8.

After seeing the Expedition Essentials mounts for the Tacoma I was looking at designing something like this to hold an inReach and iPad. Well you just saved me a ton of work!!

More than likely. Unless it was a shite answer. In that case, must have been someone else.

I've got the same one, but haven't mounted it yet, LOVE the idea of the usb power plug right there. Will incorporate when I find time to install.

What the hell is that thing for anyway, and what is underneath it? Why did they not just make the dash solid?
