    Hi,
Troubleshooting crank no start on 2000 4.7. Did not see rpms graph do anything while cranking. Replaced sensor, no change. Wire is routed in correctly. Removed and inspected, shows no signs of abrasion etc. Full story is ate lunch, got back in truck and wouldn't start. No codes. Wiring from bottom of cab to fuel pump looks good. I have verified spark and fuel pulse. Timing belt is tight and looks good. Will fire with ether. Pump resistor is good. Hooked up pressure guage and got nothing. Im curious if i should normally see RPMs while cranking.
    Any insight is appreciated!

So, which is it? Crank no start, or no crank? If it fires with ether, that indicates a fuel delivery problem. Seeing RPMs has nothing to do with current issues, IMO.

Thanks, edited. From reading it seems the ecm wants to see the input from the crank sensor to run the fuel pump. Does the rpm data not come from the crank sensor?

Maybe from cam sensor? Not sure. Fuel pump won’t run without crank position sensor input.

Crank position and cam position sensor (under driver cam cover) both can get severed by belts/pulleys and cause issues. Next step is to confirm fuel delivery is the problem. Spray ether/starter fluid in the intake. I’d it catches and runs for 20s or so then dies, fuel pump isn’t pushing fuel either because crank position sensor isn’t sending feedback, or fuel pump isn’t getting power, or someone installed aftermarket pump and it died (slap the tank while cranking, if it’s fuel pump it’ll probably start), it may be a few other things.
