I have this on my Gen 1. Have had it for about 4 years now and have to say, I couldn't be happier. I live in South FL, so it's always in the sun and it hasn't faded, nor has the stitching frayed. Easy to remove and lightweight for self removal and install. The vinyl is strong... i've put heavy objects on it and all it does is flex and return to it's normal shape when heavy objects are removed.

do you haul a lot of stuff that's higher than the bed rails? if so, trifolds are a pita. if not, they are a nice setup. no clue on this brand though

I typically don't... but when I do, I fold it up and use the buckles to secure it. You can drive at highway speeds with it buckled. For the few times I've needed to use the whole bed, it was easy to uninstall and re-install myself.

I don't have any other products from RC, but they did a good job with this one.

I have the gator version, same concept. I like it but I prefer tonneaupro cover brand. It's much better and has better weather sealing rubber.

Hands down Tonneau is better. I have no issues with weatherproofing with the RC though. It hasn’t leaked once.

I have had a Lund trifold on my 12 for 2 years now. Had one for about 8 years on my last Tundra ,an 02. Love them both.

I know this is an older thread, but I am looking for recommendations on a tonneau cover and I am curious if you meant TonnoPro instead of "tonneaupro".

A little more expensive than Tonneau Pro, but the Leer Lattitude tri-fold cover is worth a look. The advantage of the Leer over other vinyl tri-folds is the one handed operation - meaning you can unlatch the cover from either side. It also is made of premium "convertable top" vinyl. FWIW

Thanks. But it does not look like it is available for my truck. I seem to be a little more limited due to having a full 8ft bed. The Leer website didn't even give me the option to choose a double cab either. It only had crew cab and standard cab. But either one that I chose, and then chose the 97.6" bed option, it said it was unavailable.

Well that sucks - apparently they are still available for 6ft beds (only) on Amazon etc, but have been disc by Leer for Tundra - although still avail for Chev and Ford.

I recently put a Tyger Auto soft tri fold on my 2012 Crewmax. It is a good product.

I just looked at Tyger Auto and I really like the look of their hard tri fold. But they don't have it for a full size bed in any of the ones they make. Boo.
