This might sound like a dumb question..

I have a 17 cm with a 6 in lift bought it like that, now if I wanted to drop 2 in and do a 4 in lift, is that even feasible??

I think the only way would be is find a 4" lift that us the same as your 6" because of the frame being cut for most 6" lifts.

Sorry OP been out of town, whats going on, what questions do you have, what lift is currently on your truck? Wat would you like to go to? And if its a drop bracket that cut out the factory cross member, it abso.uetly can be replaced even stronger.

Let me know what you need info wise

Right now I have a rough counrty 6 in lift that came on the truck when I bought it... now can I add new coilovers, or go down to a 4 inch lift?

If you have a RC kit and want to go down to 4 and want new coil overs... I don’t think so. I went with a 6 inch RC cause I couldn’t find a 4 inch for the front and went with upgraded shocks. I could be wrong

I have a rough country 6 inch lift kit, I have an older version of the kit on my rear cross member is not cut, so technically I can get rid of this kit, if your rear crossmember is cut what you can do is go to the 4.5 inch kit and they just sell you the rear blocks and the front spacers

You can get rid of the preload spacer in the coil and that drops it to a 4"... Or you can get coilovers, set them to 2" and keep the 6".... If that isn't it, i don't understand the question.

So if you have a 6 RC you can take the spacers out and it will be a 4?

Yes, provided you do indeed have a preload spacer.
