Glad I'm "working at home" today.

Ran an errand, got back and found the Fedex truck had struck

Hope to install them this afternoon.
My buddy told me I need to get a professional to install. Pttth..what a punk. told him to get over here and hold my beer...

Love the service from Rough Country, I ordered this on Friday, in my driveway on Tuesday. Outstanding.

Install was pretty easy, think they could have had a bit better instructions but once you get started it makes sense.

My buddy didn't show up in time, he's got history like that but that's ok. I got the front bracket installed loosely then got the rear up, then tightened everything down. Took it for a spin around the block, didn't hear anything rattle, checked everything again just to make sure.

Other than the Zdog tool box that should be on the way this is all I'm going to do truck. Wife saddled up, she liked it, easier for her to climb in and out.

Hour on the first side, half and hour on the other. Remember this is what a local shop offered $300.00 to install for me. So installing it myself, paid for them right?

    Mission accomplished.

1 year + in and what do you think of them now? Are they slippery at all when it's crappy weather?

I'm not shoppin' for new ones, i've slipped on them a couple of times but nothing major and probably my shoe more than the step. You could always paint some nonskid on the step.

Cool. Not exactly a glowing review but you're happy enough. There are SO many options it's a total rabbit hole to pick one! But if you have nothing bad to say that's good by me. Thanks for the feedback!

Not sure about glowing review, they are steps, I'm happy with my purchase. Install was easy even for this fat old guy.

I have the same ones and I really like them. I have had them for 2 years now.
The only negative would be that the steps are small if you are used to a board style step (my brother in law mentioned that because he has the boards on his truck and can basically step anywhere he wants; here he has to check where he place his foot)
But, they are good solid quality and the paint/powder coating is holding up great.

Any chance someone could take a couple close up pics of any gap between the steps and truck?

I'm looking for something that fits ultra tight to the truck, so dog legs can't get caught in them when jumping up into the cab.

    Zero gap.
*Pardon the dark garage had-to-use-the-flash photos.

I love them. The kids love them. The in laws love them.

Yes, like @bmann7 said there is no gap. The way the rail is formed it has a vertical filler piece behind the rail that covers up the potential gap.

Awesome, that is what I was hoping for

Those look quite dog friendly in terms of no room for paws or legs to get stuck in....plus they look nicer than my OEM chrome.
