My first truck was a 1989 Nissan SE-V6 4x4. It was a pretty good truck. I really like the pop-up rope tie down the SE-V6 came with. Does anyone know if there is anything like that for a 06 Tundra?

There are only four tie downs in each corner so I added a couple to the middle of my 8' bed. These unscrew from the base in case you ever needed to remove them. I mounted them off to the side so I can still carry a 4'x 8' sheet. IMG_2623.jpg

That unistrut one is cool. Then you can use 3/8 springnuts with eye bolts to put it where you want.

I don't see why not. You may just have to adjust the sizes and mounting locations.
