I need suggestions for roof racks to carry 2 kayaks. I have a 2009 Crewmax Limited with a tonneau cover and tow a 24' travel trailer. Recently added kayaking to list of fun things and need a way to bring them along when camping. Any suggestions appreciated.

Because you’re towing I think it’s limited to inside the trailer using Xmas tree bags, on top of the trailer, or these options keeping in mind hitch radius clearance:

Ignore the DB covers, the roof mounts would attach to the bed rail.

Thanks JoshuaA. The last picture is perhaps one that would work. Kayaks are 12' long and no way would fit in the trailer, also I don't want to be putting holes in the roof of trailer or truck. Do you know the brand of that rack?

I had the same issue with a 13' Kayak. Ended up welding my own extender similar to the one hat mtTundra linked.

I like Thule racks, it would be the Xsporter Pro for that configuration. No drilling, lockable.

There may be cheaper brands, someone else will need to chime in on quality.

I’m in same boat and have the removeable roof racks. Ideally it’s best to put them on the travel trailer if possible to reduce payload on the tow vehicle.
