    Hi everyone!
I'm new here from MD, but have been following this forum for awhile.
Previously owned 2017 Tundra Limited CM TRD OR & 2021 Tundra Limited CM Nightshade.

Just picked up my new 2023 Tundra Limited Hybrid 2 weeks ago.
Got home from dealership after I thought I looked everything over good & discovered this... IMG_4273.jpg
    The other side...

No problem getting the part from the dealership after sending them a picture of the problem.

Could some of you guys look up on your Tundra roof & tell me,
Is there suppose to be black trim running the length of the roof as well or just the painted channel?

Does not run the entire roof span. Both sides should look like your second picture. Should be an easy fix. I'd call and send the service advisor a picture so they can make sure to have the part on hand before you spend your time taking it in for a replacement.

Thanks. I have the part already. Didn't see the need to spend any extra time at the dealership for a 2 minute fix.

That's a great lineup of Tundras you've had—each one solid in its own right. Did you notice any issues or features that you might've missed during the dealership inspection? It’s always frustrating when something pops up after you’ve already left the lot. I’ve heard similar stories from others who’ve had unexpected surprises, especially with new tech in hybrids.

By the way, it's funny you mention your truck right now—I'm actually considering using mine for some side work with roofer jobs in my area. Curious if the hybrid's power and efficiency have been noticeable for you so far? Keep us posted on how things go!

Wondered what the channel looked like with 'cap' off ... interesting it's a hollow like channel fill that's painted over.

I’ve had zero issues really. Truck has been great & I love the new engine. Can definitely tell a difference between the hybrid & non hybrid. Plenty of power & torque there when I want it. It’s a hybrid but it’s a truck not a Prius, lol.
