Rod End Bearing covers on coilovers

Anyone have experience with these?

My rod ends bearing in my Icons have worn out; I know they're rebuildable, but wondering if these could help? Do you know if Icon had a rebuild kit for their lower strut mount bearings?

@snivilous , have you experienced use or knowledge of these?

Seems fine to me. I can do that same thing with the KINGS and ICON coilovers too. I wouldn't be concerned about it.

 

Never run covers on anything, but it's common for the bearings to go out. I don't see the cover hurting anything as long as it's not trapping water inside the joint.

 

Right on and makes complete sense...I bought some to try out...
