Looking at changing my spark plugs. I have a Dap tune so changing them early seems like a good idea. I am at 80K I am noticeing the throttling responce not at crisp as it was.
I've been shopping around for OEM plugs. Price seems around $11.99 per plug. I see Rockauto has them for $6.59 per plug. That a OEM plug, or knock off? That seems to good to be true.
I also found the plugs at Toyota Lethia online for $9.82 a plug. I feel they are the better option. Thoughts?

Side note what is the torq spec for plugs? I see anit seize is not necessary per Denso site. Big can of worms there:D

If the Rock Auto are Denso, they are likely fine. I would go Toyota-brand Denso first, Denso-branded second, and avoid others altogether.

I've had toyotas that had NGK installed from the factory as well.

I would be more concerned with buying knockoff plugs from other sources like Amazon and eBay. RockAuto had been around a while and sells reputable genuine parts. Dealer pricing can be ridiculous, but online dealer pricing can be decent. I’ve purchased plugs from all dealers and RockAuto without a discernible difference. Amazon though… total knockoffs. Seriously bad. Don’t even try them.

This is a good point. The last rock auto denso spark plugs I put in my 2009 commuter corolla were identical to the originals I pulled out.

Never buy "OEM" auto parts from Amazon.

Ebay, you'll often get genuine parts (if not shipping from China) but unwittingly end up supporting a triangulation scam. Good indicators include 1) New account with low-ish feedback score, 2) Large quantities listed at excellent price, 3) Drop ships from other location, often a legitimate parts retailer or dealer.

What happens is: you pay seller, seller uses stolen credit card information to drop ship from legit retailer to you, Ebay does not care because you have product as listed and seller profits. Usually the retailer loses. This is rampant on Ebay right now.

If concern, you can get plugs at local auto parts store. Autozone, advance auto, oreilley. Etc.
