Looking at the Roadmaster system, I'm not sure if it will work for my current setup or not. I have a set of Alcan leaf springs with 1/2 lift and 200 lbs over as I have a steel rear bumper that is ~145 lbs. I have Toytec shackles set at 1.5 which has me sitting pretty level with the Toytec Alumas up front. If I added the RAS, wouldn't I want to drop the shackles down to the 1 inch setting, and the RAS would still raise the rear about a half inch above where I was sitting with the shackles at 1.5? Our TT has a dry weight of 3800 lbs and I use a WDH when we tow it.

Yes RAS will raise it half inch to an inch, depending on how you set the RAS coils. There is a white disk for less support, black for more support. I used a quarter myself which is in-between the two, netted 1 inch lift with good stock leafs.

Yeah I was thinking that if I dropped the setting down on the shackles and added the RAS that I could get it close to where it sits now. I'm wondering how much of a difference I would notice when combined with the Alcans.

It was not a big difference in ride for me, did firm up rear slightly but honestly it now better matches the aftermarket coilovers I run. Before RAS, with aftermarket coilovers, matching rear shocks and RSB, she felt a bit soft in the rear. Tundra leafs are pretty soft. Currently I also still run the RSB. Would ride a bit softer if I removed RWB maybe but I have no complaints. For a huge truck, lifted, running 33 E load, she drives sporty and handles well, handles better than many of the cars I have owned.

I love RAS, it does what they say it does. Low cost really, adds support for the factory weak leafs and you gain some height and stop sag. Not to mention the benefits to handling in towing and hauling.
