That's why you have to scout lines. Just needs a new cab and front bumper.

Yeah he definitely works fast. He bought a used cab to start things off then did everything else. So many parts, so much work. I think he has a flat orange wrap now.

Interesting. I'll have to look for it. I'm curious about his center mount though. I wonder what he had to do to get that to fit without pushing the firewall and engine back. Most of the center mounts I've seen have the firewall and engine pushed back.

I had some work done at his shop and he showed me the truck. This was before the wreck. The engine and firewall are pushed back. He had to offset his pedals to the left also. He told me he had to learn to brake with his left foot because the pedals are pushed over and he can’t effectively reach the brake with his right foot. The truck is pretty badass in person. So clean and detailed.

So they are pushed back. I was hoping they weren't.

Got a pretty good view in the video :D
Nice to hear the truck is back up, that truck has a lot more thoughtful work done than most I've seen.

Center mounted with a bulkhead... Lame!!! Just kidding that's pretty mahogany.

Anybody else get tired of hearing that guy go full bro? I'm not watching to hear him talk about how long he's known people. That's an unfortunate kicker though. I got a bush like that one time and it wasn't fun. Luckily mine kicked with a bit less list than that one. They can be day enders.

I'm waiting for the day a center mount can be fabbed in without moving the engine and firewall. maybe some crazy looking arms will do it. I dunno. My fab and design skills are garbage. I would like to get into it more when I get a new house with a garage.

Can you even call that thing a Tundra anymore. What's he keep, the frame and engine?

It's a tube frame. So... cab, bedsides, fenders, lights...

There's a Spec Tundra out there too... That one is more relate-able. Let me find it...

It actually has an LS motor in it. The cab is a Tundra but you can't do the things those guys do with their trucks and keep the stock frame.

Maybe with some interesting j arms and an interesting steering rack linkage. The one issue I wonder if you'd see is getting the shocks tilted in enough at the top to not go past 90* at full bump. If you are doing a bulkhead I think some engine/ trans mounts and tin work for the firewall aren't much more. Firewall work on a caged truck is actually pretty fun. Fun in a sort of "never again" kinda way.
