Hey everyone, I'm a bit new to the forums so bare with me. I was actually wondering what would be the biggest tire i could fit on my 2014 Toyota tundra crew max? I currently have stock lift in the rear and put on a ToyTec 3 inch front coil spacer lift. Now i am wanting to throw on some new wheels, and any idea what offset i would go with to give it an aggressive stance? i'd say sticking out at least an inch from the wheel well? Thank you.

Here’s 295/70/18 on 18x9 with +25 offset. This was on 3” Toytec Boss. Didn’t need a CMC but had to trim plastics.

You can go to +18 or even +12 but the further you go the more you’ll have to trim.

Awesome. I did a little research and would you think i would be able to pull off a 35x12.50 on 20x9 with the 3 inch front lift and stock rear and with a -12mm offset? Sorry, i'm kinda new to the whole lift and throw on what type of wheels. Just trying to get the perfect setup i want for wheels when I throw on my front lift.

Not without major trimming and definitely would need a cab mount chop.

    What about a 33x12.50 on 20x10s with a -12mm offset?

You’re gonna have to do some serious trimming going with a -12. Stay in the +12 to +30 range for minor trimming, though your alignment figures do come into play as well. Here’s some crappy pics of mine, running a 3/1.5 suspension lift with 295/70R18’s on 18x9 FN BFD’s with a +12 offset.

So with the positive offset, that would allow the wheel to stick out a tad from the fender well? Sorry, Im not too familiar with that info lol...

Yes, zoom in on the second pic in my previous post. You can see how much a +12 will stick out on a 295/70.

Oh okay I see, awesome! Thanks man. And that tire is the max size you can go on that lift without rubbing or chopping anything?

I had to remove the mud flaps all around on the front end of the pickup, or I’d of rubbed em. I also pushed the front liners forward. No cab mount chop was needed. There’s never a guarantee that you won’t rub somewhere when you upsize in tires and go to aftermarket wheels. About the only size on a 3/1 that won’t rub is a tire that’s small for the lift, like a 275/70R18 or a 285/65R18. It isn’t a big deal if you rub dude, unless you’re rubbing the frame. If that happens, you know that the tire’s just too damn big and you need to pick a smaller size.

Yeah you're right.. If i rub i guess i can just trim what i need to trim, unless its rubbing the frame like you said. I just want to get a nice beefy looking wheel that'll fit and look big enough on the lift with minor rubbing and have them sticking out at least an inch or so from the fender well. Guess we will see what i can put together with the help yall provided me with. Thank you for your help bro. It did help a lot and help me make some decisions.

No worries man, we were all rookies at one point! Look around in the build threads, the suspension, and wheel/tire sections and you’ll get some ideas.

Fuel Trophy +20 offset with 275/70 R18 Nitto RGs. (Bilstein 6112 @ 1.9) Not the greatest angle, but she's a little snow-covered at the moment. I get a little rub at full lock in reverse. Going to heat gun the fenderwells when the weather improves, but it all honesty, the rub isn't that bad. Anything bigger, and there might be a problem. The wheels stick out maybe a 1/2" from the fender.

Thank you! I'll get some profile pics and fender shots when the weather is a bit more agreeable. Right now it's a snowy mess outside.

IMO get rid of your coil spacer before farting around with a new wheel/tire setup
