I cannot tell and cannot find an answer by searching (not very good a searching either, :()

anyway, while driving around I see TRD 4wd and they look to sit significantly different than my non-TRD 4wd. Is everyone running a level/lift or are my eyes deceiving me. I am wanting to know to decide how much of a spacer level to do

They should be exactly the same, stock.

The TRD PRO is 2 inches higher than the other trims in front. Rear is the same. That is only for the actual TRD PRO Tundra, not a Tundra with the TRD off road package.

And look at the pros/cons of a spacer lift. Can be ok on the street, but a NO NO if you wheel the truck. The suspension forum here has lots of good info about the different options for lift/leveling.

    Alot of them
They could have a leveling kit, Bilsteins, or even larger tires. Now if its a TRD Pro, they do sit higher than the rest.

Should clarify, I was talking TRD Off-Road package vs. without. A TRD Pro is going to be level.

Rough Country shocks, ReTrax cover, Summo springs, black out badging, bed extender, "some other things I can't mention"
I added 2 inch longer shocks up front to level my SR5 TRD off road.
It now sits level and just like the TRD Pro.
PS. You'd be surprised how much more of your rear view mirror can be used now instead of seeing your bed.

As others have said above, non-TRD and TRD should all be exactly the same. Different wheels and tires ( for instance SR's steelies vs TRD alloy wheels and AT tires) might give it a visual different appearance, but should be the same.
I have a spacer lift; a lot of guys will warn against it. I probably spend more time off-road than most with their expensive suspension lifts do (as in every day for work), and I have never had any issues, so I don't agree with them. However, for not a lot more $$ you can do Bilstein 5100s and you don't have to worry about them harassing you.

Before you decide on a leveling kit, measure your truck. They seem to be all over the place for apparently similar trucks. I have a 3/1.5 and I am dead level. Some do 3/1 and are level, and some do 2.5/1.5 and are level. The TRD pro is 2" higher in the front with nothing in the back and is level. If I had 2" in the front with nothing in the back I would have been nose-high.

I ran a 3/1 on my 15 F150 with 35”. The 35 were to big IMO with that set up. I don’t really do a lot of “wheelin’”, I just need more ground clearance for where I do go hunting and fishing. I am going to dump the stock 20”s and get some 17 or 18” and probably a leveling kit. IDC what others say about how mine is set up. I know how I use it and it is not a road Queen but I am not rock crawling either.

    thanks for the input all!

35"s can get you into rubbing. Mine is about 34.5". I kept my 20" wheels so I tried to get as much sidewall as possible because I don't like low profiles on a truck. If you go 18" wheels I would say a 34" tire is big enough. There is a relatively big difference between a 34" and 35" when it comes to rubbing or not.

Maybe a dumb question, but I see a lot of suspension lift kits come with a diff drop kit included - do they drop the diffs on the pros?

Nope. From some of the pictures I’ve seen it doesn’t look like it really changes the angle of the CVs. But it does tip your diff forward changing the fill location and how your pinion rides in the oil bath.

I call bullshit on this big NO NO if you wheel the truck. My last set up was pro Comp stage 1 which is a giant spacer. It was plenty capable off-road: whoops bumps rocks etc... eventually when my ball joints wore out I upgraded to SPC UCA and converted the front to full coil overs and granted it definitely handled better off road, but I’d say 60-70 percent of the 6” lifts you see on trucks are not full coil over but strut mount spacers. At the end of the day it gives you better clearance to accomplish most things off road. That is unless you want to Baja a $60k truck and jump your rig at the dunes

That’s my truck with a 3/1 pro Comp lift kit the previous owner installed. I wish he’d have opted for the 4/2. I just ordered a new set of BF KM3 in 295/70/18. Still debating on upgrading to the rough country full coil over 6” lift kit and going with 35/12.5/20 instead of the 295s
