I have a 22 Limited 4x4 6.5 bed Tundra with the load leveling air suspension and I'm thinking about upgrading the suspension all around to lift the truck and improve ride quality. Has anyone replaced the rear shocks? Did it improve ride quality? Do the current options for rear shocks fit the same?

One thing for sure that will help is either adjusting the load leveling linkage to lift the rear and gain clearance in between the bump stop or install a minor lift, ReadyLift makes a 2” kit that maintains good road manners, I have it installed with larger tires… as far as shocks I’m waiting to see what becomes available next year before I make a decision

I should have mentioned I already have a spacer lift up front and adjusted the links in the back to level it for about a 3" lift. I would prefer to have a real suspension lift instead of a spacer at some point. I guess my main concern would be, for example, if I bought the Kings Shocks for the rear would they just bolt on like they do on a Tundra with a coil suspension in the rear.

It shouldn’t matter air spring or coil, I believe the shock is the same, I thought about getting the TRD lift as I can’t imagine it’s any different except for the rear coils
