My lower ball joints were replaced 10k miles ago. If I want essentially a new OEM front suspension, what other components are needed to keep my suspension lasting for many more years to come? My front end feels a loose on heavy off road roads (lots of loose gravel, and steep rutted dirt roads ascending and descending mountain tops), and would like to bring new life to my front end. I use my truck for servicing utility towers and drive conservative off road (no high speed driving, and careful where I steer, and traverse). I imagine struts, A arms, as well as new braking components, CV axle, rubber mounts, etc?

My 2¢, first think I'd do is confirm where I'm at:
    • Upper balljoints
    • Tie rods inner/outer
    • UCA/LCA bushing wear
    • Lower shock bushing wear/play
    • Steering rack bushings/play
Going poly bushings on the steering rack may help tighten things up, but really checking the list above will give you a good gameplan on which way to go.

How many miles are on the truck overall?

Thank you for the ideas for parts to replace. The truck only has 217K on it. I know OEM is the way to go, but didn't want to drop a fortune on suspension upgrades/replacement. So I might just have to replace things piece by piece as needed to tighten things up.
