I replaced the starter in my 07 Tundra 4.7 SR5. it’s still making a single click sound and not turning over. Anyone know what it could be?

Load test battery. Make sure terminals and clamps are clean, bright metal, and tight.

Have you tried barring the engine over manually?

I've heard changing the starter on the newer Tundra can be a chore.

+1. oem Batteries on Tundra are known to fail often.
You will change batteries multiple times before the starter on a Tundra. I think i'm on my 3rd Toyota battery. Still sticking to it since the warranty keeps covering it :)

Also check to make sure the engine to chassis ground is good.
If all else fails perform a voltage drop test of the B+ cables to make sure there is not high resistance in the circuit (poor connection or corrosion).

Could be ignition switch, it’s cheap and easy to install, just remove your key cylinder.

Also, if the starter is aftermarket it could be a piece of shit Chinese reman unit. I regularly get bad ones out of the box.
