My 2006 2 wd Tundra drive shaft has a little play at center support. The rubber definitely gone. Has anyone tried using this

Considering a quick temporary fix to see if vibration goes away before pulling driveshaft to replace u-joints and carrier bearing.
This is clip of the problem . There is no grinding or squealing sound a bearing makes when bad https://drive.google.com/file/d/1ZtOQaBf9ESTLNyaLshPmzkJ9h5C8hdwN/view?usp=drive_link

Decided not to order the JXB carrier bearing upgrade When I found the price was $299.00. I think the bearing itself is ok. Just the rubber bushing has dried and shrunken allowing the drive shaft to allow vibration at acceleration. Does anyone know of a good product to fill the gap .

I was going to say the other day, but just kept my mouth shut ...

Realistically, that product was designed for Jeeps and similar, where you can't simply replace the carrier bearing, because the entire 2-piece driveshaft is bolted together as an assembly, from the factory. My neighbor's Cherokee Laredo is like that, and he had this exact issue. But his reality was, the driveshaft assembly at the driveline shop I sent him to was $100 more than the JXB part, so he just swapped out the whole thing.

It's not ideal if your rubber donut is blown out. For the cost and limited effort involved with swapping out the carrier, just go get a new Spicer unit, and move on. Spicer was the OEM from the factory and I don't think you'll find a mechanic on the planet that won't swear by Dana/Spicer products as being at the absolute top of the quality product heirarchy. Your part numbers are here:
Hopefully that'll save you some effort/$$. Make sure you mark things before removal so everything gets clocked correctly on reinstall, and don't install the carrier upside down (single hole points toward ground) or backwards (note the arrow position)
