I just got my tundra last week, platinum with leather seats, and didn't notice a small rip on the side... the notorious rip that eventually starts on all my leather-based toyotas. Is there anyway to patch it up and keep it from spreading? Never have I attempted to fix one before, but I haven't had a vehicle this new or nice before either, so im hoping to find some good advice here if possible. Thanks everyone

Find a good upholstery shop in your area. Ask how much to replace that panel. If it was me I would just replace the seat bottom with OEM cover. You can find these on ebay if you search. It takes a couple of hours and is not hard.

^ A buddy of mine had his replaced under warranty for the same crack.

ETA There are interior reconditioning guys who are very good at fixing things even worse than your seat. I know a guy who operates a drivenstyle franchise and he’d make that disappear. Not sure of your location but maybe look them up.

North dakota so im just assuming he's probly not near me lol.

And I would typically just use a seat cover but it has to be able to breathe, for the seat heat and seat "A/C" ... I will look into an upholstery shop near me

    I am not no unfortunately
