Curious if anyone has some solid tips for how to remove scratches from a window? These are not just surface scratches, but are somewhat deeper scratches that basically catch your fingernail similar to deep(er) paint scratches.

I've already tried polishing them out w/a cutting pad and some compound to no avail.

    Thanks in advance!

I'm guessing you're talking a side window in your truck. Since you can catch a fingernail in the scatches those are far deeper than cosmetic and could be in danger of being easily broken. Too dangerous to mess with and IF you found a way to polish a scratch that deep your optics out that window would be distorted.

Some auto glass outfits can fill in rock chips on windshields so they are barely visible. You might want to take it to one of these shops and see what they say.
