    Folks,

We recently picked up a really nice 2012 4.6 four door 4WD. It came with a 3" front (2" thick upper spacer)/ 2" rear lift that I would like to remove. The front shocks are OEM, but the rears are silver Bilsteins.

Since I didn't install the kit, I really have no idea what it entails. Do I need a spring compressor for the front since it looks like spacer is rotated a bit to allow all the studs to line up?

Where should I get the replacement U-bolts for the rear?

    Any tips would be helpful.

Also, it came with 33 12.50 18s. Do I NEED the lift kit for those tires--they still have lots of tread left. If so, what's the lowest lift I can get by with?

(My son likes the lift. I do not. I believe the truck would ride better without it. However, if I could get by with 1.5"F/1"R and keep the 33s, I would consider that as a compromise).

    Thanks,
