I am wanting to paint match my front and rear chrome bumpers. Problem is, theres chrome itself on the bumpers. Anybody know any methods/techniques to remove the chrome from the actual bumpers? I don’t want to spend more money buying plastic bumpers or bumper covers.

    Thank you

I am also in the same boat, I’d love to get my front bumper corners color matched as well.

Wheels and tires, Fender flares, K&N intake, MBRP true dual cat back exhaust, Spray in bedliner, LED lights, Tow mirrors, DVD touch screen with back-up camera, ARB dual air compressor, Blue LED dash lights, WeatherTech side window vents.
Could use a vinyl wrap to cover the chrome. Then it'll be smooth and should be able to color match or just black em out.

Mine is a full steel rear bumper, used bedliner when I coated the bed for a little texture. Front remains untouched yet..
