My 2020 Tundra’s remote stopped working. Everything else seems to work just fine, just can’t start it remotely. The keyless fob is a Toyota fob. Any ideas on how to fix my issue- before it gets too cold!!

Mine did the same thing, I can't use the fob or the Toyota app to remote start it. App also won't lock/unlock it. I've got it programmed into the dealer on the 25th so hopefully it won't get too Canadian till then.

I've never liked the Toyota remote start for my 2020 Crew Max. It is totally unreliable. If I have to get up, and virtually stand in a window 10 feet from the truck to check on whether or not the truck started, or have to repeat the start process several times, then it's garbage. I used the App on my phone since it was a million times more reliable. When my free trial expired, I looked into having an after market remote installed, then decided to simply subscribe for the App. If you're having trouble with your remote and the App doesn't meet your needs, I'd recommend an after market remote from a reputable dealer. I had one on my 2007 Crew Max, and it worked like a charm for the 13 years I owned the truck

My 2020 fob worked fine until a few weeks ago. I went through the vehicle settings, software is updated. I locked the truck, waited a few minutes, stood 10 feet away and hit lock-lock-lockx seconds. Nothing. Any suggestions other than go back to the dealer?
