Remote start issues 2021 Tundra

    I installed a 12Volt solutions remote start on my 2021 Tundra (H key). It required splicing into the TPS monitor wires. The remote start works well except it sends a TPS warning every time I use the remote start. Being a new truck I get emails from Toyota telling me to bring the truck in due to the TPS warning. Does anyone know a work around for this issue?

    I suggest you contact 12volt solutions. Likely they have heard about the issue before.

    I did contact them and was told they are woking on a fix. That was in March. I was wondering if anyone figured out a way around the TPS warning.

    I did find someone that installed a couple of relays to stop the TPS warning but that was on a Tacoma. Tried it on my Tundra and it got rid of the warning, but now I can't use the key fob to unlock doors when using the remote start.

    If the builder of the device is aware of the issues and does not have a fix yet, I would not expect anyone here would have developed a solution. It has been 5 months, I would check with them again.
