I have a Viper Remote Start installed in my 2017 SR5 vehicle, which has been functioning flawlessly since its installation five years ago. However, after the latest iOS update (18.1.1) on my phone, the application has reverted to its unsynchronized mode, and I have been unable to resolve this issue. Has anyone encountered similar problems and been able to find a solution?

So, here’s the thing with my Toyota stock remote. If I press the lock button, my truck still starts up, even though I can’t use the app anymore. It’s a bit of a bummer, but I guess I’ll just have to live with it.

Have you contact the Dev of that app? Perhap they need to update their software to work with 18.1.1.

I received an email from Viper, so I’ll call them on Monday as suggested. They provided a phone number and are willing to talk to me. That's a pleasant surprise!
