I own a 24 SR5 with a build date of 12/23 and 6,300 miles. I have loved it so far and have had zero issues. I was about 5 hours into an 8 hour road trip. I was pulling out of a gas station in heavy traffic and needed to accelerate quickly. I did not floor it but got the rpm’s up to around 5k through multiple gears. Suddenly the engine lost substantial power, ran very rough, and threw a message that read “reduced power, see dealer”. I was able to drive a short distance to a parking lot and shut it off. I waited a few minutes and restarted it. It started just fine, idled smooth with no messages or check engine light. Drove it the next three hours as if nothing had happened. It has ran silky smooth ever since.

Does anyone know what this was?

I will give an update on my return trip on Sunday.

Yep , happened to my may 23 build on the highway passing a semi. Took it in to the dealership and they blamed it on my aux switches I installed. Worst part about this is, I’m not a part of the recall

I used a foxwell scanner the day after I arrived at my destination. Nothing stored or pending.

Also, I have nothing aftermarket added to the truck. First oil change at 1k. Second oil change at 5k. I have never used anything other than top tier fuel. Exxon, shell, chevron to be exact.

Made it back home with no issues. The truck ran great. I don’t understand what happened. I’m assuming from reading similar threads that the dealer won’t either.
