Hi, I’m wondering if anyone can tell me the factory offset for wheels on a 2002 Tundra. I’m looking into ordering another set of 18” rims but I want to keep the handling in check. Any recommendations would be helpful!!

The door says factory size was 16”. I bought the truck with aftermarket 18” rims on it. I am not sure the offset on the aftermarket ones. I was just going to keep 18” so I don’t have to get all new tires too.

Take one of your wheels off and look on the back. The offset/backspace should be stamped or etched on the back.

I’m not sure it’s set at the best offset. The handling is a little strange and the outside of the tires have extra wear up front.

well, at least knowing what your current wheel specs are, you’ll know what to avoid.

Sounds like an alignment might fix some of your issue.
