I'm looking at throwing a lift kit onto my 19 TRD 4x4. I'm thinking that 3" in the front and 1" in the rear will be adequate for my needs. I'm wanting to go for a full kit with strut replacements, as well as new UCA's.

Any recommended kits that folks have had good success with?

Is a simple block lift for the rear adequate or will new springs be a better way to go?

    budget and use?

Bilstein 5100s at sub $600, the popular 6112/5160 at like $1400, up to Fox/King/BP51/8100 series at $3-5k all before UCAs

    Fair questions.

I am looking at doing slightly more serious offroading, and want the reassurance of being able to fit some bigger tires on without problems, as well as clearing the obstacles that backroading Arizona has to offer.

As far as budget goes, I'm looking for the kit price, including any needed UCA's to be in about the 2-3k range.

if you’re springs are in good shape, I would do a shackle in the rear. If they’re worn down like mine, I’d recommend an icon pack with adjustable options. A shackle will just make them worse.

bilstein 6112/5160 combo is going to be your best bet in this price range. Full kit with springs will be in the 2.2k range. Add UCAs and you’ll squeeze by under 3k. Ask me how I know …

no leaf springs but shackles? 2.5k range

Stillen CAI, DD 8” exhaust, Toytec Aluma coilovers, Icon leaf springs, SCS SR8 18x9 wheels, Cooper Rugged Trek 275/70/18 A/T Tires, Ecoological bumper shellz and grill surround, AJT interior black out kit, AJT shift knob. TRD pro style grill, VLED aqua blue footwell lights, MESO custom dome and map LED lights, swing case, Rough country bed mat, TRD pro headlights and fog lights, Morimoto XB tail lights and 3rd brake light.
You could do Toytec Aluma 2.5's with their adjustable shackle in the rear and SPC UCAs. Gives exactly 3 inches of lift in the front right out of the box and up to 1.5 in the rear I believe. You are also able to get the alignment dialed in nicely with the adjustable UCA.

You have heaps of options available.

This page lets you see a range of options, especially for the rear.

FYI, shocks/lift have nothing to do with tire clearance/fitment if you will actually be offroading.

Need some input. Looking to achieve close to 3-1 lift. On a mid budget. I want to do 5100s with the .50” spacers up front. 5100 in the rear with coachbuilder shackles. Called coachbuilder and they recommended the +3” (1.75” of actual lift). My question is will that be too much for the rear 5100? Looks like they are only for 0-1” lift. Thoughts?? The +2” is 1.25” of lift.
